David Amor (Murdoch Children's Research Institute)

Red List (low evidence)

Gene-disease association: strong. Lowe oculocerebrorenal syndrome (OCRL) is a rare X-linked multisystemic disorder characterized by the triad of congenital cataracts, severely impaired intellectual development, and renal tubular dysfunction with slowly progressive renal failure.

Severity: severe

Age of onset: congenital

Non-molecular confirmatory testing: no

Treatment: mostly symptomatic, incl early treatment of cataracts and treatment of renal tubule dysfunction. No specific Rx therefore I am coding as Red
