Red List (low evidence)

Biallelic ACBD5 variants cause impairment of very long-chain fatty acid metabolism. Patients have retinal dystrophy and leukodystrophy. Other features include ataxia, spastic paraparesis, developmental delay and facial dysmorphism. One patient with cleft palate reported but this may be an incidental finding and not related to this condition. No other antenatal features reported.
