PMID 28132692 Schoch et al 2017 report 7 unrelated children with a neurodevelopment disorder and recurrent de novo heterozygous NACC1 c.892C>T p.Arg298Trp NACC1 variant (including one mosaic). Phenotypic features include microcephaly, profound developmental delays and/or intellectual disability, cataracts, severe epilepsy including infantile spasms, irritability, failure to thrive, stereotypic hand movements and MRI-B anomalies.
